Why we opened

Jo and Chad

We know our farmers personally. Our small staff will get to know you by name. You might catch Jo at the store. Jo's interest in real food started with her grandmother's cancer diagnosis and the questions that came after it. Years later, after moving to the Lowcountry, she wrote a business plan for the kind of store she couldn't find here. Chad coined the name and the rest of it is history.

    Yes — we carry certified organic produce, locally grown organic-practice produce that we vet, and spray-free and hydroponic produce.

    Yes, a wide variety of unique and hard-to-find supplements and superfoods.

    We opened our doors in July of 2022.

Recipes

  • Jo’s Chocolate Superfood Smoothie

    Add the following ingredients to a blender (serves 2–3):

    1. 4 raw, organic, pasture-raised eggs (an excellent form of easy/fast absorbed protein, vitamins, and nutrients)
    2. A handful of locally grown fresh microgreens (for fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants)
    3. 2 ½ TBSP fermented organic raw cacao (great source of magnesium, flavonoids, & procyanidins (use carob powder for no caffeine))
    4. 1 TBSP organic, ground, sprouted, flax/chia seed (for fiber and omega 3’s)
    5. 2 ½ TBSP organic, raw coconut cream (a great source of medium fatty chain acids & gut healthy living enzymes)
    6. 3 ounces E3LIVE fresh/frozen algae (or 1 TBSP powdered form) (great source of chlorophyll (for daily heavy metal detox), minerals, vitamin B12, omega 3 & 6, and amino acids)
    7. Add raw honey to desired sweetness
    8. Fill blender the rest of the way with raw milk (a great source of protein, fat & gut healthy enzymes)
